My Story

Two members of Team GTP (West Midlands) are taking on the 13.1 mile course through the heart of the city to compete in the Birmingham half marathon challenge. Iain and Michael will all run in aid of World Child Cancer to raise vital funds for their nominated corporate charity.

When asked how they could support the charity, they did not hesitate in stepping forward for this challenge.

Commenting on his motivation, Michael says : “Children are our future and have so much to offer the world; cancer is a plague on humanity so anything to help protect and cure our future has to be supported. I Have two children of my own, and having personally had to deal with cancer and losing my farther to it as well. I am passionate about being able to support in any way I can to help fund the great job doctors and researchers are doing to rid our world of this disease. “

Iain also commented:

Our business is committed to making a difference and to contributing positively to society, whether that is locally, nationally or globally. We aim to be responsive to the social and economic needs of the communities in which we work and live and to enhance the benefits that our business activities bring; we also acknowledge the contribution that we can make to help tackle issues affecting those in countries less fortunate than our own.

Please support us in our effort to raise £1,100; all donations however small will be gratefully received.
