My Story

On the 12th June 2019, Myself, Shane & Dan have decided to jump out of a plane at an altitude of 15,000ft to raise as much money as possible for World Child Cancer.

All 3 of us are not keen on heights so what better way to address this fear, than jumping out of a plane.

For all those who sponsor will receive a drink at the Widows Son pub paid for by the last 1 of us 3 to touch down on the ground (hopefully with the parachute fully deployed and functioning).

About World Child Cancer

World Child Cancer is dedicated to addressing the disparity of cancer care for children across the world. They believe that every child, no matter where they are born should have equal access to the best possible treatment and care.

Over 300,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. If the disease is detected early enough, many of these children can be cured - 80% of children with cancer in the developed world survive. However, in developing countries, survival rates can be as low as 10%, with many children dying without effective pain relief.

Their mission is to improve diagnosis, access to treatment and quality of support for children with cancer, and their families, in the developing world.

See link for more information: https://www.worldchildcancer.org.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated and will go towards a great cause.

Thank you in advance.
