Frederick Breyer (9 years old) will be sleeping out on the evening of Friday 10th May at the Breyer Group Stadium home of Leyton Orient FC and will be joined by his dad Tim.  Frederick has been absolutely delighted at the support he has received and so far he is nearly halfway to his target of £8000.

We are doing this to raise money for World Child Cancer.  As an added bonus any sponsorship pledged will be doubled by the UK Government as part of the Gift of Growing Up UK Aid Match appeal, so not only is this a tremendous cause but you can make the Government pay for making us suffer through Brexit!

We came to hear of this marvellous cause through our friend Mark Everard who is an Ambassador for the Charity and a committed fund raiser for many years. 

We all have experience of hearing that devastating word “Cancer” and it is all the more heartbreaking when in connection with a young person. But imagine living in a country where the care and support we enjoy here is almost non-existent? Over 300,000 children develop cancer each year and most of these live in developing countries where survival rates can be as low as 10%. World Child Cancer provide medical care, financial and emotional support and community awareness in Africa, Asia and Central America.
