My Story

Hi everyone,

I will be running the Hampton Court Half marathon on Sunday 17th March 2019, in support of the World Child Cancer charity organisation!! Cancer affects nearly all of us either directly or indirectly in many different ways - including myself - and this extends to children. Many children across the world are diagnosed with cancer, however some unfortunately do not have access to relatively simple, affordable and ultimately life saving treatments..

World Child Cancer aims to improve the diagnosis, treatment and support for children with cancer, and their families, across several countries in the developing world - and they need our support!! I would greatly appreciate your donation in support of my run, and of this Charity - any amount will make a big difference!!

For every £1 given, 83p will go toward making a difference to children with cancer all over the world!!

  • £5 could provide a week's worth of pain relief medication for a child with a life-limiting condition in Bangladesh
  • £10 could buy a welcome pack of basic supplies for a family new to the ward in Malawi
  • £50 could pay for a round of life-saving chemotherapy for a child in Ghana

Thank you all in advance for your support - I will no doubt be thinking about this in those last few miles!!! :)
